What we do
All of our programs and events were designed to address systemic barriers to financial and social success. The keys to breaking those barriers are education, resources, and inspiration. Aiming at the communities who need it most, we hope our free programs will be replicated nationwide so that everyone can achieve their dreams and receive empowerment through financial literacy.
Dream Summit
The Dream Summit is one of the largest free financial literacy events in the southern U.S., drawing over 1,400 attendees in 2024. It begins with the Dream Gala at the National Civil Rights Museum, honoring top entrepreneurs and business leaders. The second day features interactive booths, panels, and discussions on financial literacy and entrepreneurship, covering topics like credit, investing, and small business ownership. Attendees also enjoy performances by top youth groups and nationally recognized artists. I designed the event to be comprehensive and accessible, particularly for those with limited access to financial education.

Financial Literacy Reading Fair
Headquartered in Memphis, this event tackles the city’s high Black poverty rate (over 30%) by equipping young people with financial literacy. The Financial Literacy Reading Fair at LeMoyne-Owen College brings high school and college students together for interactive learning, contests, and literacy promotion. Local financial institutions sponsor booths on credit repair, investing, and startups, with contests judged by community leaders. The event offers free financial literacy books, interactive games, and door prizes, aiming to inspire financial education and bridge the wealth gap. It’s designed to be replicated nationwide.

Dreams Not Deferred
This program consists of a series of panel discussions held at significant national venues, where educators and influencers discuss the American Dream. The panels explore individual journeys, challenges, and strategies for overcoming obstacles to achieving success. These conversations create a space for open dialogue on societal barriers and offer actionable solutions, providing inspiration to those who may feel that their dreams have been delayed or derailed. I created this series to spark meaningful conversations about the pursuit of dreams in America, emphasizing perseverance, equity, and the realization of aspirations against all odds.
